Ulsan Floating Wind Power Forum Organized by Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The 2024 Ulsan Floating Offshore Wind Forum, hosted by Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Ulsan Technopark and sponsored by Ulsan Metropolitan City, was successfully held.
▲ Through presentations such as "Ulsan's Site Conditions for Offshore Wind Power (Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd.)," the necessity of developing floating offshore wind farms was emphasized, highlighting Ulsan as the optimal location for large-scale offshore wind power development.

Beach Cleanup Activitiy at Gangdong Mongdol Beach, Ulsan
Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. conducted environmental cleanup activities at Gangdong Mongdol Beach, Ulsan. Gangdong Mongdol Beach is a beach adopted by Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd.
Adopt-A-Beach is a program organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation (KOEM). Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. participated in the program in September, adopting Gangdong Mongdol Beach and has since continued environmental cleanup activities.
The beach cleanup activity was attended by 20 employees of Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. and businesspeople of Ulsan. After the safety training, they all celebrated the Ocean Day (May 31). The participants also collected beach and marine garbage through plogging.

Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. recently signed an MOU with the East Sea Maritime Energy Fishing Vessel Association in Ulsan, further strengthening regional coexistence activities.
This event was held to foster mutual growth with fishermen in Ulsan, who face numerous challenges such as declining fishery resources and limited market opportunities. Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. supported the initiative by purchasing seaweed from local cooperatives and providing sponsorship funds.

Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. donated nutritional food and support kits to vulnerable households, including elderly individuals living alone, in the Dong-gu district of Ulsan, in commemoration of Malbok.
The donation ceremony for the "Summer Nutritional Food and Support Kit" took place at the Ulsan Dong-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Centre, attended by Jonathan Spink, CEO of Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd., and Lee Jung-seok, Director of the Ulsan Dong-gu Comprehensive Social Welfare Centre.
The support kits included Samgyetang, rice, nurungj, essential food ingredients, and hygiene items such as hand sanitizers and masks. Employees of Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. personally visited vulnerable households to deliver the nutritional food and support kits as part of their volunteer efforts.

Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. Releases 120,000 Abalone in the Waters off Ulsan to Boost Local Fisheries Economy
On April 14th, as part of its ESG management efforts, Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. released 120,000 young abalones into the waters off Ulsan, in collaboration with local fishing communities. This initiative was carried out to enrich marine resources by releasing a large number of abalones and to contribute to the revitalization of the local fisheries economy. The 120,000 abalones provided by Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. were 4.5 cm in size and were selected as healthy stock after undergoing disease testing. The event saw participation from local fishermen, female divers, and employees of Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd.

Beach Cleaning Activity through Plogging at Gangdong Mongdol Beach, Buk-gu
On the 15th, in celebration of World Wind Day, a beach clean-up activity through plogging (jogging while picking up litter) was held at Gangdong Mongdol Beach in Buk-gu.
The event was jointly organized with the Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) and participated by five private investment developers involved in the 6GW-scale floating offshore wind farm in the Ulsan offshore area, including Haewoori Offshore Wind Co., Ltd. (CIP), Grey Whale Offshore Wind Co., Ltd., Munmubaram (Shell-Hexicon Korea), Firefly Floating Offshore Wind (Equinor), and Korea Floating Wind (KFWind), as well as around 30 members of the Ulsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
