Haewoori Overview
introduction
Haewoori Offshore Wind is an Ulsan offshore wind project company founded in 2022 by CIP/COP Korea,
the Korean subsidiary of CIP/COP (Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners/ Copenhagen Offshore Partners),
the world’s largest green investment fund and leading developer of offshore wind.
Haewoori Offshore wind obtained approval for three floating offshore wind farms in Ulsan with a total capacity of 1.5GW. Currently, Haewoori Offshore Wind is actively engaged in the business development phase for these projects.
The name of the project, 'Haewoori,' means "a story that we create at sea and in Ulsan." The name reflects our ambition to establish a representative offshore wind farm in Ulsan and coexist with the local community.

greeting
As climate change has become a global agenda, the transition to sustainable energy has been accelerating around the world. Notably, offshore wind has come to the fore for its efficiency and potential. Indeed, offshore wind development is ongoing in many countries.
Haewoori Offshore Wind took note of the world-class supply networks and environmental, industrial and economic potential that Ulsan offers and has been advancing its eponymous Haewoori Offshore Wind Project, the largest-ever floating offshore wind power project.
Leveraging its rich experiences and knowhow in the offshore wind field, Haewoori Offshore Wind is committed to promoting win-win relations and development with local communities and fishermen from a long-term perspective and contributing to building an ecosystem for the local offshore wind industry. In addition, Haewoori Offshore Wind will help stimulate the local economy and support Korea’s transition to new renewable energy.
We ask for your support and interest in the success of Haewoori Offshore Wind Project, which will draw global attention.
Thank you.
